Calvina “Callie” Raye Connell 

Born August 13th, 1941, in Fort Worth Texas. She left this world to be with our heavenly father on December 4th, 2022. Her parents were Loise Elaine Furnace and Earl Furnace she also had a brother Joseph Benjamin Furnace. Callie’s dad was in the military so in her early years she traveled a lot.

Callie attended northwest Texas school of nursing and graduated in 1967. She enjoyed caring for children and became a pediatric nurse practitioner. She also worked at Happy Hill Farm and did home health as well as hospice care. In addition to her work her faith was very important to her, and she was always active in her church.

However, her family was the most important to her. She adored her daughter Shauna Briley and doted on her grandchildren Abigail Briley and Taryn Armontrout.

Callie is preceded in death by her parents Earl and Loise Furnace and brother Joe Furnace.

She survived by her daughter Shauna Briley and grandchildren Abigail Briley and Taryn Armontrout.
