Carlos Savala, 60, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, January 25, in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Biggers Funeral Home.

Carlos was born July 19, 1952, in San Antonio to Eligio and Ursula Savala. He was a longtime area resident and had worked as a mechanic for Bell Helicopter for 37 years.

He loved to fish and working on cars.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Savala; children, Rodney Savala, John Savala and Bruce Lecker; father, Eligio Savala; brothers, Rudy Savala and Isidro Savala; sister, Mary Avila; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild
