GRANBURY — Carol Ann Cook Rodgers, 64, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014, in Granbury.
Funeral: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014, at Granbury First United Methodist Church. Burial: 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Dallas – Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Wiley Funeral Home.
Carol was born May 30, 1950, in Dallas, to Julius Walker Cook and Mildred Hill Cook. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She worked several years as a realtor for Shirley Hooks Century 21. Carol was a member of the Opera Guild and Granbury Newcomers. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ken Rodgers, and sister, Cheryl Cook.
Survivors: Daughter, Krystal Ann Rodgers of Fort Worth; son, Kraig Rodgers of Weatherford; grandchildren, Micah Rodgers, Chase Rodgers, Cami Rodgers; sister, Sherry Cook of Dallas; brothers-in-law, Floyd Rodgers of Valley Mills, Mike Rodgers of Denton; sister-in-law, Sharon Stagner of Ponder; and numerous loving nieces and nephews, cousins, Grand’s and many friends.

Carol was a special gem with a light that shined in many of our hearts. Losing her is hard but knowing that the husband and parents she loved dearly are awaiting her with open arms makes our loss bearable.
