Carol Ann Rhoades Sealey, 85, passed away on Thursday; September 24, 2020 at her home in Granbury with her family by her side.
She was born July 9, 1935 in Oklahoma to Julius and Blanche Getz Rhoades.
Carol was a devoted wife to her husband C.F. for many yearsand mother of Phyllis and Kelly. She loved her children and grandkids and would love to spend all of her time watching and playing with them. Even though she didn’t golf, she once made a hole in one at DeCordova. Carol also loved butterflies and Elvis. She was a longtime resident of DeCordova Bend Estates and was a member of Acton United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, C.F. Sealey, a daughter, Phyllis Davis and a sister, Shirley Swinney.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Kelly Hopper and husband Troy of Houston; granddaughters, Mandy Holderness and Chris of Granbury,cMeagan Longton and Brian of Colorado and Jordan Hopper of Houston; great-grandchildren, Landon Buzan, Lathan Davis, Emerson, Farrah, and Ellis Longton, and Triston and Rylee Holderness; son-in-law, Ronny Davis; Sister, Dolores Davis; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 6PM. to 8PM. Monday; September 28, 2020 at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM. Tuesday; September 29, 2020 at Acton Cemetery in Acton under the direction of Wiley Funeral Home.
