Carolyn Boortz

Mrs. Carolyn Boortz of Granbury, TX, died October 20, 2012. Mrs. Boortz was born in Deadwood, South Dakota to the late Louis and Evelyn Wibmer, September 26, 1940. She leaves behind her spouse of 40 years, Gerald Boortz; and two daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and Darin Lindsey of Apple Valley, CA, Katherine and Steve Wagy of Butler, GA and son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Kelly Boortz of Springdale, AR. She had five grandchildren whom she loved more than words can express: Jayme Lindsey-Davis and husband Kyle, Robynne Lindsey, Candler Boortz, Gracie Boortz, and Mattie Boortz. She was also a great grandmother to Masyn Davis. She also is survived by her brother Vince Wibmer of Lead, SD.

Arrangements made by Wiley Funeral Home. Funeral services were held, Sunday, October 21, 2012, at 5 p.m. at Pecan Baptist Church in the Village Shopping Center with the Rev. Steve Behrens officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in memory of Carolyn to Pecan Baptist Church Building Fund at 1200 Weatherford Hwy., Granbury, TX 76048.
