Carrie McLaughlin Wallace Barfield

Carrie McLaughlin Wallace Barfield passed away October 28, 2018 at the age of 75 in Granbury surrounded by family and loved ones. A visitation is scheduled for November 1, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Wiley’s Funeral Home in Granbury, Texas. A private, family service will be held at a later date.

Carrie was born on May 5, 1943 to JT & DeDe McLaughlin in Weatherford, Texas. Carrie was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Carrie is survived by her children: Casey & Pam Wallace and Rex & Kathleen Wallace. She is also survived by her brother, Jerry & wife Stevie McLaughlin and niece and nephew, Melissa & Mitchell. Carrie leaves behind many grandchildren: Brittany, Courtney, Phoebe, Cooper, Caroline, and four great-grandchildren.

Carrie is preceded in death by her first husband, John Cooper Wallace, Jr. and her second husband, Charles Barfield. She is also preceded in death by her son, John Cooper Wallace, III. Carrie stayed home and raised her children, enjoyed traveling with friends and family, and loved spending time with those she loved.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Rainbow Room in Granbury, Texas or Hood County Friends for Animals. Wiley’s Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
