Celinda had a deep faith in God and was never hesitant to share this with others as she was known to reach out to those in need of encouragement or uplifting. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Glen Rose where she loved teaching Sunday school.
Celinda is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Ronald Sexton; son Brent Sexton and wife Tricia and daughter Deborah Sexton Nabors and husband Brett; and the joys of her life, her grandchildren: Taylor, Tyne, and Trey Sexton; Jordan and Jace Nabors, and great-granddaughter Collins Sexton-Reichle. She is also survived by her sister, Sherry Wheat O’Neal of Early and a number of nieces and nephews.
A private family celebration of her life is being planned. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the building fund of First Baptist Church or to the LDL charity foundation in memory of Celinda.
