GRANBURY — Chaplain Ronald L. Kimbrell, 62, passed away Friday, June 5, 2015 in Granbury.
Service: 10 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015 at First Assembly of God Church in Granbury.
Interment: 3 p.m. Saturday in Resurrection Hope Cemetery in Hearne.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wiley Funeral Home.

Ronald was born Sept. 2, 1952 in Memphis, TN. to Leslie Andrew and Kathryn Louise McGaugh Kimbrell. He married Linda Daugherty on May 19, 1979 in LaPorte. Ronald served in the U.S. Air Force and was a graduate of Southwestern Assembly of God Colleges. He served as a chaplain in several nursing homes where he loved to sing and play the guitar. He brought joy and told corny jokes. Ronald loved his family and had lived in Granbury since 1994. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.
Survivors: Wife, Linda Kimbrell of Granbury; sons, Andrew Everett Kimbrell and wife, JoAnna of Fort Worth and Anthony Kaden Kimbrell of Granbury; brothers, Robert William Kimbrell and wife, Carol of Mineral Wells, David Jonathan Kimbrell and wife, Helen of Aldeo and Thomas Leslie Kimbrell of Fort Worth; several nieces and nephews.
