Charles C. “Supe” White, 79, passed away Friday, March 16, 2018 in Granbury. Service: 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2018, Wiley Funeral Home. Interment: Long Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at the funeral home.
Charles was born August 11, 1938 in Hood County to Charles Clarence and Nora Mitchell White. He graduated from Granbury High School in 1957 and attended UT Arlington. He married Carolyn Ruth Lucas on November 22, 1958 in Fort Worth. Charles was a machinist for Lockheed Martin, retiring in 2004 after 27 years of service. He was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church and loved being together with family, talking was his favorite thing. He was an avid hunter, loved fishing, sports, watched the Rangers, Cowboys and Mavericks and played a lot of dominoes. Charles was preceded in death by his sons, Cliff White and Clay White and siblings, Lou Dempsey, Christine Smith, J.W. White, Betty Davis and Charline Whitworth.
Survivors: Wife of 59 years, Carolyn White; children Angie White Riley and husband Tim, Stephane Nesbit, Cindi White and Chris White; grandchildren, Cameron White and wife, Laura, Rani White, Tyler Farley and Sam Riley; great grandson, Caleb White; and sisters, Jean Munday, Beverly Hayworth and Lynn Freeman and husband, Marion.
