GLEN ROSE — Charles David LaGrone, 74, died Sunday, March 16, 2014.
Memorial service: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Wiley Funeral Home, Glen Rose.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, he would like a contribution in his name to one of the following charities. The Wilderness Society, P.O. Box 97321, Washington, DC 20090-7231 or the USO, P.O. Box 96860, Washington DC 20090-6860.
Charles was born Oct. 19, 1939, in Oklahoma City, Okla., to Jean Lanace and Francis Sutherland LaGrone. He worked as a computer specialist for over 35 years at TI/ Raytheon and was retired to Glen Rose. His life was always one of gratefulness and positive energy. He had many friends from all walks of life and cherished each one. He proudly particiapated in a bird sanctuary on his land and enjoyed honoring the animals and life in general.
Survivors: Children, Paul LaGrone, Beverlee Frazier; grandchildren, Charles LaGrone, Joy Frazier, Nathan Frazier; brother, John LaGrone; and other family and many friends.
