Charles “Charlie” Hill, 88, went to be with his Lord and Savior with his family by his side Wednesday, March 28, 2018.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2018 at First Baptist Church Saginaw. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday at Biggers Funeral Home. Burial: 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Perrin Cemetery. Charlie was born August 15, 1929 in Oran, Palo Pinto County, Texas. He was the last of ten children born to the late William Dexter and Etta (Warren) Hill. For 38 years, Charlie served faithfully as a ranch foreman for Walsh Ranches. He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church Saginaw where he served as a deacon for many years. Throughout his life, he enjoyed ranching, team penning and trout fishing in the mountains. He especially cherished family, time spent watching his two granddaughters grow up, playing dominoes and reminiscing with his many friends. Charlie was preceded in death by his son, Bobby.
Charlie is survived by his wife of 61 years, Charlotte; son, Lyndon Hill and wife, Shelli; daughter, Debbie Adams and husband, David; grandchildren, Hillary Smith and husband, Tim, and Madison Sawyer and husband, Preston; as well as many nieces and nephews.
