Gayle and Pat Currie left a message on February 12, 2021:
Charles was a neat friend. He and brother, Carlisle, could play their guitars and sing many songs we knew and many we had never heard of. A true performer! The sessions we had at their house in Rendon were so much fun. He will be missed! Diane was the love of his life and we send our prayers to her, the boys, Kim and rest of the family. Charles will make a big hit in heaven. Our Ski trips were so much fun, and everything we did with them was an "event" to remember. Actually 40 years of memories of being friends with Charles and Diane. He will be missed by many!
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Charlie was a special unique church and school friend. We became friends around middle school when we both attended the same church--a lot. Charlie's dad was a preacher and my dad was a deacon. At our 60th reunion Charlie appeared to enjoy listening and competing in friendly rivalries of past in and out of school antics which he may or may not been a participant. My prayers and love are sent to Diane, Kimberly, Travis and other family members.

Charlie was a great mentor to me. Loved working with him and for him in Stephenville and Amarillo. He was an awesome leader and always was positive influence for everyone that worked with him. May he rest in Peace. He will be greatly missed. Bob and Sue Haschke
