Charles Mosser, 72, of Granbury, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020.
We are heartbroken to tell the world we lost our beloved Charlie. He was a wonderful man with a heart of gold. He made us laugh at the silliest things. And we loved to hear him laugh really hard at old sitcoms. He loved watching live baseball, especially sand lot ball. He liked to fly kites on the beach, the simpler the kite the better. He loved collecting change in piggy bank after piggy bank so he could put it in the kid’s stockings at Christmas, and have them count it out – until they reached an age where they qualified for cash. He hated snakes, and we loved to tease him about it. He would want us to tell the world that he absolutely would not eat chicken – no kind of bird at all.
He traveled the world for work (to all 50 states and many countries), always sharing his experiences with us on his return about what he liked or disliked during his trip – and always bearing gifts (be it bags of sweet vidalia onions, t-shirts, or a string of pearls). He was a gentle caring soul, and the world isn’t nearly so bright without his light shining in it.
