LIPAN — Charles “Chuck” Gaston, 44, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, in Lipan.
Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at Lipan First Baptist Church. Burial: Allison Cemetery in Lipan. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wiley Chapel in Lipan.
Chuck was born Aug. 8, 1968 in Abilene, Texas. He worked as a machinist at Lockheed Martin and was a member of Lipan First Baptist Church. He was a lifelong resident of Lipan.
Chuck was a very loving and devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was always there when you needed him. He enjoyed being with his family and the people he loved. He was an avid bow hunter and loved being outdoors.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Chunk Gaston of Abilene, Mary Sue Gaston of Abilene, Ella Mae Stansbury of Abilene, and step mother Pamela Gayle Gaston of Weatherford.
Survivors: Wife, Ellen Gaston of Lipan; Daughters, Felicia Gaston of Uvalde, Candace Gaston of Lipan, and Meranda Kelso of Midland; grandchildren, Kaden Lee Martinez, Karson James Kelso, Kolt Justice Gaston, Makhala Rose Gaston, and Alexis Nicole Martinez.
Also survived by his parents, George Robert Gaston of Weatherford and Lela Rosella Rogers of Lipan; sisters, Sharon Gaston Mills of Lipan, Mary Jean Stennett of Weatherford, and Reatina Gwen Wright of Aledo; brother, Nathan Glen Rogers of Lipan; nieces, Lacreta Rachelle Stewart of Stephenville, Emma Grace Stennett of Weatherford; nephews, Ty Gaston Mills of Lipan, William Gaston Stennett of Weatherford; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and kin.
