Cherie Moirre Howard, 60, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, April 22, 2012.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at Solid Rock Church, 591 S. Reno Rd. Interment: Azleland Memorial Park; Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Biggers Funeral Home.

Cherie was born Sept. 4, 1951, in Oklahoma City, Okla. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Her passions other than her family were her faith and church. Her other passion was her work as a respiratory therapist for 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Odis and Joyce Henderson.

Survivors include her husband, Daniel L. Howard of Azle; daughters, Sharon Johnson and husband, Maurice of Bedford, Ashley Corbin and husband, Mason of Azle, and Sarah Scarlato and husband, Tony of Azle; son, Josh Wright and wife, Tonya of Amarillo; brothers, Doug Henderson of Arlington and Mark Henderson of Nevada; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
