GRANBURY — Cheryl Diane Boyd, 69, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2016, in Fort Worth, Texas.
Memorial service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 5, 2016, at Lakeside Baptist Church, Granbury, Texas.
Inurnment: 10:00 Monday March 7, 2016 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Cheryl was born on August 31, 1946 in Fort Worth, Texas to Jim McCorkle and Melva Webb McCorkle. She married Paul Roger Boyd in September 1964 in Hobbs, New Mexico. They moved to Granbury 12 years ago. She was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church and was a discussion leader for ten years for the Bible Study Fellowship. She retired from Johnson and Johnson where she was in the top ten of the Johnson and Johnson family. Cheryl was a premarital counselor for young couples. She loved small lady group bible studies. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors: Husband Roger Boyd; children Chelle and Steve Boyd; brothers Corky and Patty McCorkle, Duane and Margaret McCorkle; nieces and nephews Chris McCorkle, Robbie McCorkle, Ron McCorkle and Kim Jordan and numerous cousins.
