Chris Russell, 53, passed away July 25, 2019 in Alvarado, Texas. Chris was born on December 6, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois to Thomas Russell and Victoria Blanton. Chris was an extreme animal lover and loved being with her dogs and cats, spending time with her family, and being outside to read. She was also an avid fan of The Young and the Restless. She also was very proud being a nanny and caring for her nephew Thomas Weaver and nieces Alexandra and Madison Weaver.
Chris is survived by her Mother: Victoria Blanton; sisters: Heidi Weaver and brother-in-law Doug Weaver, Stephanie Russell and sister-in-law Heather Russell, Teresa Pearce, Michele Morgan; step-mother: Linda Russell; nieces and nephews: Thomas Weaver, Alexandra Weaver, Madison Weaver, Heather Etheridge, Michael Worthington, Sara Worthington, Reiley Boehm, and Ryan James Boehm.
She was preceded in death by her father Thomas Russell.

I meet Chris in 1989 at Wal-Mart. We worked together been her friend ever since. Her laugh was so funny, she was a blast to be around. Her love for animals. She was a great person, she used to call me in middle of the night to talk about the super bowl and the Detroit Lions, drove me crazy but that is what made her Chris and that is what I will miss , but I know I will see her again one day in heaven .
