Christopher “Chris” Marshall Farris

Christopher Marshall Farris, 44, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, March 14, 2021.We lost a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend.

Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Biggers Funeral Home

Chris was born May 1, 1976 in Bellevue, Nebraska. He brought us joy and love beyond comprehension. Chris was an amazing husband. He loved Angela with all his heart, and the adventures they had together. She was his rock and he was hers. He loved his children, his family, and friends with all of his big compassionate heart. As a brother, he and Scott were always best friends and competitive enemies! The 42 games and corn hole competitions were brutal. As a brother-in-law, he was always full of fun and love. Even an ordinary event could become hilarious if Chris told the story. He was an amazing father to his two daughters Felicity and Briley . He told Angela that his girls gave him purpose in life that he thought he never had before. Being a father was his dream come true. Felicity and Chris had a close bond from the day he met her. Felicity and a Chris shared a love of Star Wars, Hell’s Kitchen, and video games. The joy on his face when Felicity would run up to him and jump in his arms was a sight to see. When Chris and Angela found out they were expecting their miracle baby, Briley, he was on cloud 9, he looked forward to all her growing years and being able to raise two daughters with Angela. Briley was a Daddy’s girl and would stand and wait at the window at the same time everyday because she knew daddy’s truck would pull up soon. Before Chris became a father he was an uncle. He took that role on very seriously. Lindsey and Olivia allowed Chris to live up to the fullest potential of what a uncle is. Those girls were his everything. Chris was an amazing Son. You could not ask for a more sensitive loving son, who was always there for his mom and dad. The legions of friends speak for themselves as he inspired loyalty and lifelong friendships. Chris worked for Austin Bridge and Road and loved his job. He was a member of Normandale Baptist Church.
Everyone who met Chris saw joy and kindness. He would want you to know he is was at peace knowing he could meet Jesus any day. His prayer would be that his friends and family would know the love and grace of the Lord and would see him in heaven someday.

Chris leaves behind his loving wife, Angela; daughters, Felicity and Briley; his mom and dad, Ken and Linda Farris; brother, Scott and wife, Laura; plus two nieces, Olivia and Lindsey all of Fort Worth, Texas; and a host of family and friends.
