Christopher Earl Van Slyke

Christopher Earl Van Slyke was born on April 17, 1970 in Fort Worth, Texas. He attended Lake Worth High School and graduated in 1988. He resided in Azle, Texas over the past 20 years. He currently worked at Overhead Door as a National Sales Project Manager. His favorite pastime was attending the Azle High School football games and watching them excel over the years. He adored playing with his dogs, Vader and Zeus, who will miss him dearly. He enjoyed tending to his garden and loved letting his kids know how well it was growing. He was extremely proud to be a Husband, Father and Pop Pop and could often be found bragging and beaming.

Chris passed surrounded by his loved ones on June 20, 2020, at the age of 50. He is preceded in death by his Father, Earl Frank Van Slyke.

Chris is survived by his one true love, Janet Van Slyke. His daughters, Brittany Van Slyke (Alain Gonzalez), Hannah Van Slyke (Sean Littlejohn), Pepper Van Slyke and his son, CJ Van Slyke. His mother, Barbara Van Slyke, his brothers, Todd Van Slyke, Bryan Van Slyke (Karen Van Slyke), and his sister, Jennifer Quinn (Joey Quinn). He is also survived by his (8) grandchildren, Haley, Kylie, Layne, Jackson, Tristan, Franklin, Oliver and Benjamin. As well as many other extended family members.
