Christopher James Slatick, 49, passed away, peacefully at home, Saturday, August 15, 2020.

Celebration of Life: 6:30 p.m., Friday, August 21, 2020, at The Church at Azle, 1801 South Stewart Street, Azle, Texas.

Chris was born May 9, 1971 to James and Carolyn Slatick, in Fort Worth. He was a project supervisor, and a resident of Fort Worth, Texas.

He passed away unexpectedly on August 15, 2020, peacefully in his home at the young age of 49.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Carol, and his uncle Ron.

He is survived by his wife Edie; his sons, Dillon and Brandon; his brother, Jimmy, and his wife, Robin; sister, Debbie, and her husband, Brad; brother, Mark; his sister, Kim, and many other extended family members.

I had the privilege of knowing Chris since High School and having him as a neighbor. I remember Chris moving in and popping up over the fence to say hello. What a great man and neighbor! He would stop by the house and We would catch up on the latest news. One thing is for sure, he loved his wife and kids and spoke of them often. Not seeing him around will be hard.
