Christopher “Trey” Harris

March 27, 1981 - January 5, 2021

Christopher Trey Harris 39, of Ft. Worth passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at home, surrounded by his adoring family after a long illness.

 

Christopher, better known as Trey, loved his family and friends with all his heart. He was an avid sports enthusiast, passionate about music and he loved his little dog Brenya.

 

He graduated from Haltom High School and went on to attend Texas Christian University, where he loved being part of campus life playing in the band and attending sporting events.

 

Trey is survived by his cherished wife, Destiny Harris of Ft. Worth; Mother Toni Slaton, Stepfather Edward Slaton of Granbury; Brothers Jason Harris and Aaron Harris of Watauga. Nephews Dominic Harris, Jacob Harris, and Hudson Harris of Watauga; Grandmother Nancy Hancock of Granbury, His Father Christopher Harris, Stepmother Patricia Harris, and Stepbrother Nathan Berry of Arlington.

 

Trey was dearly loved and our family is devastated over our loss. Our lives are forever changed without his love, laughter and bigger than life personality.

 

 

Memorial Service will be planned at a later date.
