I want to share a couple memories I have of your Mother. While they lived in Alamogordo and Andrew the pastor of Eternity Baptist church she always organized Vacation Bible School and loved spending time with the children. She like a Christmas cactus that I had a peach colored one. So I gave her one that I had started. She was so proud of it and really took good care of it. She was so excited when it stated flowering. My wife and I would have ice cream socials at out house twice a year for church members and she would always come and help us set up. It was a wonderful time together. And she loved to sing in the choir. She was a beautiful Christian lady and know that she is looking down on you from heaven along with your Father my friend. You all are in my prayers

Dearest Geoff and Anna... There are no words of comfort or understanding to comprehend your collective loss this year, so I won't even try. From personal experience, grief never truly ends when a parent leaves; it changes on the journey as you process it, shifting into a collective balance of great love. Allow time and space to feel and move through it in your own ways knowing Love always leaves behind more than death tried to take away. While I knew both your parents, your mom in particular was a gentle, beautiful soul, remarkable educator, and hero to so many! The living impact she leaves is a part of her enduring legacy. Our family, while filled with sorrow, is equally filled with gratitude and love for your family as you navigate the coming hours, days, weeks, and months ahead, friends. Hugs and so much love...
