Clairlynn “Claire” (Bush) Sheffield, 81, of Haltom City, Texas entered eternal slumber on November 19, 2021 in Azle, Texas after a long battle with cancer.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Careity Foundation in order to assist in the fight against breast cancer.
Claire was born September 9, 1940, in Dallas Texas to Travis and Myrtle Bush. She grew up in the north side of Fort Worth with her sister Nelda. Upon graduating, she pursued a career in the travel industry, with Braniff Airlines, later becoming a travel agent. She resided in several states before settling down in Fort Worth. Claire loved painting, reading, musicals, and of course, traveling.
Claire was preceded in death by her parents, Travis and Myrtle Bush; brother-in-law, Norris Rose; and nephew, Donald Rose.
Claire is survived by her sons, Kyle Ashley of Haltom City and Marty Foutz and his wife, Karla of Farmington, New Mexico; and her daughter, Danielle Davis and her husband, Brad of Azle; her grandchildren Michael Ashley, Sheridan Koiner, Jackson Sheffield, and Kyle Foutz; two great-grand daughters; her sister, Nelda Rose of Durango, Colorado; nieces, Dayna Holman of Utah, and Laurie Rose, of New Mexico. She leaves behind many friends as well.
The family wishes a heartfelt thanks to the staff at Azle Manor and Beyond Faith Hospice for providing care during her time of need.
