Clinton Everett Howeth, 84, of Glen Rose, joined his heavenly family on Decem ber 17, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Belcher Howeth, by 12 days. Clint was born on September 12, 1930 to Ethel (Eddy) and Floyd Howeth in Glen Rose, Texas. Clint graduated from Abilene Christian College and married Shirley in 1952. They had three daughters. After serving in the army, Clint started his professional career with Soil Conservation. He spent most of his career as the Admission and Placement Director at Abilene Christian University. He also traveled extensively recruiting foreign students for ACU. Clint is preceded in death by wife, Shirley; parents Floyd and Ethel, and beloved stepmother Eva Howeth. He is survived by daughters Debbie Lambert and husband Stan of Abilene, Denise York and husband Toby of Willis; and Diane Hulburt and husband Tony of Midland, six grandchildren: Ashley York Wallace, Kyle York, Wesley and Jay Lambert, Eric Hulburt, and Rachel Hulburt Barnett, and six great grandchildren.
