Colleen Casper

GRANBURY — Colleen J. Casper, 84, of Granbury, went to join her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, January 18, 2014 in Granbury. Service: 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 22, 2014, Wiley Funeral Home Chapel, Granbury. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Graveside service: 11:00 A.M., Friday, January 24, 2014, Rosewood Cemetery, Humble, Texas.
Colleen was born July 31, 1929 in Oklahoma City, OK to Claude Carroll West and Sadie Anna McKiddie West. Colleen worked at a phone company, Herman Hospital in accounting, and many years at Rosewood Funeral Home. She moved to Granbury in 1992 to help her son-in-law, Dr. Richard Adams start his podiatry practice where she made many friends and was loved by all. In 1975, she served as Charter President of the Ladies’ Auxiliary, V.F.W. Post 4710, and was a lifetime member.
Preceded in death by her husband: Joel Garth Casper. Parents: Claude Carroll West and Sadie Anna West. Brother: James H. West. Sister: Lena Mae West, born and died in 1924.
Survived: Children: Joeleen Adams and husband Richard, Garleen Hutchings and husband Jim. Brother: Willie Lloyd “Johnny” West and wife Martha. Sister: Lorene Maguire and husband, John. Grandchildren: Christopher Caldwell and wife Melissa, Alex Hutchings and wife Marissa, Zach Hutchings, Michael Adams, Joel Adams. Many nieces, nephews, and friends
