Connie Elaine Bell Shields, of Weatherford, went home to her Lord and Savior on August 12, 2022 at the age of 75.

Connie was born March 23, 1947 in Fort Worth to Roy Cleveland Bell and Corine Bell. She married William E. Shields III on May 24, 1997 in Azle. She adopted her son, Robert Trammell on October 20, 1973 in McKinney, Texas.
She was a devoted wife, mother and granny. She was a hard worker, sometimes working two jobs. After retiring from Boeing, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, often taking them out to eat, and to the movies. She also enjoyed cooking and baking. Anyone who knew her, knew she was a loving and trusting person who would do anything for anyone just to make their day better.
Connie was preceded in death by her father, Roy C. Bell, by her brother, Jerry Wayne Bell, and a nephew, Jody Ray Haney.
Survivors: Connie is survived by her husband, William C. Shields III of Weatherford; her mother, Corine Bell of Azle; sister, LaTisha Haney and her husband, Jimmy of Azle; her son, Robert Trammell and his wife, Amanda of Fort Worth; stepchildren, Laura D’Ann Shields Marshall and her husband, Kyle of Pittsburgh, Texas, Wendy Elaine Tamjidi and her husband, Shahbal (Sha-bal) of Azle, and William E. Shields IV of Azle; grandchildren, Autumn Edwards of Fort Worth, Nicholas Trammell of Fort Worth, Alexis Trammell of Rockford, Illinois, Keely Ann Marshall of Pittsburgh, Texas, Tucker Nathaniel Tamjidi, Madison Soraya (Sore-E) Tamjidi, Remington Skylar Lucas Shields of Azle, and Fantasia Nichol Shields of Fort Worth; great-grandchildren, Arieanna, Corbin, Ava Edwards, Perseus (Per-see-us) and Deliah (Duh-lie-luh) of Fort Worth; and nephew, Kenny Haney and his wife, Rubee of Azle.
