GRANBURY — Cynthia Barker Carson “Cindy” passed away at home Tuesday July 28, 2020. Mrs. Carson was 66.
Born in Dallas on December 30, 1953, Cindy was the daughter of Nancy Jane and Marion Carlisle Barker. She was raised in Wichita Falls and graduated from Southwest Texas University in San Marcos.
She is survived by her sister, Janeece Jackson Barker, and her brother Carlisle Barker Jr. as well as her nephew Matthew Jackson Barker.
Cindy loved people and animals alike. She never met a stranger in her life. She retired ¬to Granbury two years ago and loved living at Waterview. She enjoyed the daily activities and because of the care the staff gave and the friendships she made during her time there, every day was a happy one. She will be missed and although she lost her struggle with COPD she has gained the gift of eternal life with her savior. There is currently no memorial service planned at this time.
