Darrell Gene Scott, 62, passed away on Monday; October 5, 2020 in Granbury.

He was born December 4, 1957 in Fort Worth, TX. to Archie and Dora Bennett Scott.

Darrell was a hard worker, he liked to be with his family and was considered mean and ornery and always liked to do things “his way”. He was a great dad and a wonderful friend who was very generous and helpful. Darrell enjoyed playing poker and playing other games with his friends.

He is survived by his daughters, Chandra Cranmer (Melissa) and Ashley Bailey (Dillon) and by a son, Darrell Scott, II; mother, Dora Comer; grandchildren, Carson Raynes, Kaitlyn Raynes, Brayden Manuel, Brookelynn Manuel and Hank Thomas Scott; sisters, Barbara Lem and Pansy McManis; brother, Perry Scott; brother and sister-in-law, Jackson Comer and Jane; eight nephews and extended family members and friends.

Darrell was preceded in death by his father, his step-father, two previous wives and a nephew.

A memorial service and gathering for Darrell will be held at a later date.
