Dale Schnittger, 76, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012, peacefully at home with his family by his side.
Graveside service: 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Dale was born December 14, 1935, in Dunnell, Minnesota. He served in the U.S. Air Force and retired after 23 years of service. He later worked for Diebold Inc. and again retired after 15 years of service.
Dale was an active member of VFW Post #8235, American Legion Post #626 and the B-58 Hustler Association.
He always cherished his many military friends and especially his dart playing friends.
Darwin was preceded in death by his mother and father, Mildred and Theodore Schnittger of Fairmont, Minnesota.
He is survived by: Wife of 52 years, Homerene; daughters, Nancy Schnittger and husband, Lonnie, of Mount Vernon, Missouri, and Sandra Moore and husband, Ricky, of Azle; brother, Glen Schnittger and wife, Joan; sister, Yvonne Jorgensen and husband, Marlin; grandchildren, Tiffany, April, Cody, Joey and James; great-granddaughter, Ella; and numerous nieces and nephews.
