David Bass, 68, passed away on September 26, 2022, in Granbury, Texas. No services have been planned at this time.
David was born November 2, 1953, in Fort Worth, Texas to Charles Leroy Bass and Shirley Ann Fowler. David was a lifelong martial arts enthusiast and held a blackbelt in Karate. He had a passion for fitness and always found time share that passion with his granddaughters whether it was by swimming in the pool or teaching them self-defense. During his free time, he loved the outdoors and tending to his vegetable gardening. David always had a thirst for knowledge and of course the long running list of dad jokes.
David was most recently employed with Daffan Heating and Air-conditioning where he worked for over 15 years prior to retiring in 2019. They became like a second family, and he enjoyed all the time he was able to spend with them on and off the clock. Every year he looked forward to and enjoyed dressing up as Santa at their annual Christmas party.
David is survived by his daughter, Crystal Epstein who he was beyond proud of for her accomplishments; his son-in-law, Jon Epstein, who he had more in common with than he will ever know; his two beautiful granddaughters, Olivia and Brooklyn Epstein, that were the light of this life.
David is also survived by his stepdaughter, Claudine (Jeffrey) Cardenas; grandsons, Joshua Connor, Adam Cardenas, and Nathaniel Cardenas; great grandchildren, Ryder and Aurelia; nephews, Michael and Mark Bass; sister-in-law, Terri Bass.
