David was my younger brother and friend. I will miss going fishing with him and all the talks we had. He lives on in our hearts. I know he’s in Heaven doing what he loves.

I was a teenager when my brother was born.... He had a duck that laid scrambled eggs when he was four... He was always a joy to me... He marched to his own drummer and led his own parade. My Brother left this world before I had a chance to tell him how much I loved him... I waited to long and it's breaking my heart

Dave an l are brother -in-laws, his sister ,Karen, is married to my brother , Bruce, and my brother, Bruce, is married to Dave's sister, Karen. Beyond that Dave was my friend. We first met when he was working in an ice cream shop and l worked next door in a donut shop and we would swap ice cream for donuts. It wasn't until later that we knew that Karen and Bruce were dating. Years later Dave moved in with me ,where he met his wife Linda, who lived acrosd the street. We have shared Christmas, Thanksgiving, birthdays and family passings along with many laughs. Dave was a great story teller, part of that he took on the character as he told the story. Even though time would pass when we would see each other it was like we saw each other yesterday. Dave will be missed and l will miss him like my brother he was. Love ya, Stuart

Mike and I were so sad to hear of your leaving your earthly home for your heavenly home. Rest In Peace. Your sister, Karen, often spoke of you with love and pride.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

The things I loved the most about David were his smile & his amazingly daring spirit. When we were kids, he constantly made me laugh. He had a genius mind, even in elementary school.

David was a free spirit from the time he was born. He made me laugh when we were kids & I smile when I think of him. He was a genius & amazed me with his memory when he was in elementary school.

My fondest memories of David are when we were young and he & Karen would come with their mother to visit our parents. David always kept us laughing, he was so much fun to be around. Just a few years ago he came to my house to repair some plumbing, we had so much to catch up on since it had been years since we had seen each other. Even though I haven't been that close to David in recent years I will miss his sweet smile and great sense of humor. RIP sweet cousin.

"Ode to David" I can't believe I am writing this as I thought we were going to grow old together and smoke cigars on the back porch. I am so shocked that you left this world only to be reunited with Ray and Margie and Shirley and your Aunts and Uncles. I have known you since I was fourteen and it was fate that our paths crossed for a lifetime as you worked in Ashburns and Stuart worked at Southern Maid Donuts. You boys got into trouble as high school boys do and our moms met at the courtroom. You and my brother Stuart were even roommates on W. Purdue where you first met Linda, your future wife. I married your baby sister 5 years after we started going together and she cherished her big brother. You drove me to boot camp in California as I was entering the Air Force just as you did. You even got me drunk and tried to talk me out of reporting on our way there. That was the kind of relationship that we had. You were like a brother to me and will be missed. I am smoking a cigar for you as I write this sitting on the back porch. You were an artist, photographer, Master Plumber, Dive Master and Instructor, military veteran serving as a Russian Interpreter in Japan during Vietnam. You were a great cook, great with your hands, loved music and loved to dance. You are one of a kind and I will miss you brother. Until we meet again.

Precious and beloved brother, you were my childhood partner and friend for life. If you only knew how much I miss you. I thank God for the time we shared on Earth. And I know one day I’ll hug you again. Your loving little sister, Karen
