David Kinney

GLEN ROSE — David Dean Kinney, 54, passed away Friday, Aug. 17, 2012, in Kenner, Louisiana.
Funeral: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at Rainbow Baptist Church in Rainbow, Texas. Interment: Squaw Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wiley Funeral Home.
David was born Feb. 9, 1958, in Saginaw, Mich., to Elmer and Virginia Longo Kinney. He served in the U.S. Army from 1981 to 1996. He had lived in Glen Rose since 1996 and was a member of VFW Post 462. He also was a member of the Rainbow Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, a son, Matthew Kinney, and a niece, Brandy.
Survivors: Wife, Trish Kinney of Glen Rose; son, Daniel Kinney of Glen Rose; daughter, Jodie Ann Kinney of Cleburne; mother, Virginia Kinney of Saginaw, Mich.; brother, Jim Kinney and wife, Connie, of Apache Junction, Ariz.; sister, Pat McMurray of Saginaw, Mich.; niece, Nichole Kinney and Steve Delacruz of Apache Junction, Ariz.; and several nephews.
