To know David Luper was to love him; he would tell you that himself!
David was born April 28, 1952 in Fort Worth, Texas. He had a huge personality that followed him all through his life. There was never a dull moment, nor long between laughs when you were in his presence!
David was a proud American who served his country in the United States Navy. He had a big heart for his fellow veterans.
David was blessed enough to find the only woman on Earth who could handle that huge personality on October 26, 1973. He was SMART enough to make it forever on December 22, 1973.
David was an entrepreneur at heart. He loved computers, music (especially old rock and roll), and fast hot rods! He was silly and highly opinionated. He loved to talk politics and he LOVED his state of Texas. In fact, to quote him, “if you’re not from Texas, you’re a foreigner!”
David and Bonnie had three children they adored, Courtney Lea, David Gene II, and Ashley Dianne. They raised their children the way a family should be brought up, with a lot of love, laughter, and a strong faith in God.
David will be greatly missed by his Dad, Eugene Luper; his beautiful wife of 44 years, Bonnie Luper; daughter, Courtney Luper and her sons, Caleb Flores and Michael Flores; son, David Gene Luper II and wife, Erin Luper, and children, Jacob Morris, Hope Luper, Rebekah Luper, Brooke Luper, and David Gene Luper III; daughter, Ashley Dianne Stults and husband, Brian Stults and children, Kaemon Stults, Allyson Stults, Kyler Stults, Kaleb Stults, Taylor Miller, Thomas McClendon, and twins, Bo McClendon and Blake McClendon; his sister, Patti Rose; as well as thousands of other friends and family.
David did something that not all people can say. He lived life to the fullest, loved with all he had, and spread laughter everywhere he went. May his legacy live on forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
