David McClanahan, 79, of Granbury, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2019. Graveside service: 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 27, 2019, Evergreen Cemetery, Lipan, Texas.
David was born on March 26, 1940 in Sonora, Texas to James and Carrie McClanahan. He loved spending time outdoors, fishing, hunting, playing the guitar and camping with his family. His dedication to his hard work in the construction business provided for his family which he was so proud of. He deeply loved all of his family and be greatly missed.
David was preceded in death by his wife: Merry McClanahan, daughter: Mayree McClanahan, brother: James McClanahan, a sister: Mary Arlene and his parents.
David is survived by his children: Donna Hall and husband Mike, David McClanahan, Ricky McClanahan, Teresa Williams and husband Robert, Brenda McFarland and husband David, Kimberly Parr, Beverly Lanham, Chris Mcclanahan, Clarissa Rocha and husband Rene, and Nathan McClanahan, sisters: Mayree and Ruby, 19 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
