Delbert Cain

Granbury, Texas– “Heaven received an Angel” Delbert Cain, went to be with the lord on Friday October 16, 2020 in the comfort of his home, with his loving wife of 17 years by his side.

Delbert was born March 13,1940 in Frisco, Oklahoma to the late Ira and Ruth Cain.  Visitation:  5:00 – 7:00 P.M., Thursday October 22, Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury.

He proudly served in the US Army 82^nd Airborne Division, and in 1994 retired from the City of Fort Worth where he was a supervisor for the signs and marker division.

Delbert is survived by his wife- Gisela Engler

Sisters-Billie Johnson, Doris Pierce, Myra Cosgrove and Sharah Pace and spouse Daryl Pace

Children– Elizabeth Cross and Spouse Mike Cross and Son- David Cain

Stepchildren– Sandy Hedger and spouse Edward Hedger, Andy Bardas, Charles Lang and spouse Elena Lang, Milla Smith and spouse Don Smith, Bobby Marler and spouse Brenda Marler, Nola Hastings and spouse Robert Hastings.

And many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren as well as many other family members and friends.
