Denise Goodwin Perkins, 60, of Granbury passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020. A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
Denise was born on June 13, 1960 in Fort Worth, Texas to Joe and Odelia Goodwin. She was the light at family gatherings and was missed greatly when she couldn’t attend.
Denise loved being a lawyer and worked her entire career in Granbury, Texas. She covered cases in surrounding counties as well as in Houston and Dallas. She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Goodwin and brother: Johnny Goodwin.
Denise is survived by her mother: Odelia Goodwin; sister: Kimmy McGee and her husband Larry; brother: Tommy Goodwin and his wife Janey Huckabee Goodwin; twin brother: Dell Goodwin and his wife Rebecca Owens Goodwin; nine nieces, three nephews, 14 great-nieces and great-nephews, and numerous friends and law colleagues.
Her passing leaves a large hole in our hearts and she’ll be missed terribly. Fly high ‘NeNe’ until we meet again.
