Derin Warren

Derin Warren, 63, of Weatherford, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019. Memorial service: 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 11, 2019, St. Stephen Catholic Chapel, 211 South Main Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086.
Derin was born on November 20, 1955 in San Antonio, Texas to Dorman and Gilda Warren. He was awarded the highest rank of Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America. In 1979, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Tarleton State University. He worked as an environmental permitting coordinator.
Derin married Vivian Hewlett on December 28, 1979 in Rainbow, Texas. He was a loyal and loving husband, father, brother, and uncle.
Derin was endlessly patient and even-tempered. He suffered cancer with stoicism and dignity. He loved gardening, reading, and travel.
Derin is survived by his wife: Vivian Warren, daughter: Alice Collazo and husband Aaron, mother: Gilda Warren, siblings: Perin Warren and wife Judy, and Kerin Levy and husband Jake, sister-in-law: Lisa Lentz and husband Ronald, nephews: Nathan Warren and wife Kayla, Brandon Warren, Andy Triplett Lentz and wife Emily, and Alex Lentz and wife Emily, niece: Madeleine Moehling, and numerous cousins and friends.
