Dewey Ray Miller, 71, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018. Memorial service: 3:00 PM, Sunday, April 22, 2018, Wiley Funeral Home Chapel, Glen Rose.
Dewey was born on June 6, 1946 to Claude and Mary Miller. He was one of nine children. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Work brought him to Texas after his military service. He was a hard worker and taught his children a strong work ethic.
Dewey’s greatest joy was being a Dad and grandfather. He enjoyed camping and boating with his family. He moved to Glen Rose in 1976, and loved living there and being a landowner. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son: Adam Miller.
Dewey is survived by his children: Amy Mann and husband Ed, Tracie Neal, Bobby Davis and wife Leslie, and Roy Miller and wife Tisha, grandchildren: Arron, Shawn, Jamie, Colin, Andrew, Kasie, Linda, Dakota, Stormie, Brittany, Krystle, Elijah, and Teryn, and great-grandchildren: Kayleigh, Emma, and Alessandra.
