D’Lana Michelle Salazar

D’Lana Michelle Salazar, 49, a loving wife, mother and friend, passed away suddenly Monday morning, April 1, 2013, at her home.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Baptist Temple, 6045 W.J. Boaz Road.

Memorials may be made to the Saginaw Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 79070, Saginaw, Texas 76179.

D’Lana Michelle Cannon was born November 10, 1963, in Greenville. She married Sesario Salazar Jr. on June 17, 1992, in Fort Worth. They have lived in Saginaw for 25 years.

D’Lana was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Carolyn Rushing Cannon.

She is survived by her husband, Sesario; son, Alexander E. Salazar; sister, Judy Collinsworth; father-in-law, Sesario Salazar; mother-in-law, Rosa C. Salazar; sisters-in-law, Maria Ramirez, Marcel Ramirez; Lisa S. Nash and Minnie Salazar; brothers-in-law, Luis Salazar, Tino Salazar, Gene Ramirez and Aristeo Ramirez; niece, Sophia L. Ramirez; and nephews, Anthony Ramirez, Nicholas Ramirez, Aristeo Ramirez and Ronnie Carr.
