Don C. Parker, a dental technician, suddenly passed away at his home Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, with his wife, Melinda, by his side.
Graveside service: At a later date in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Biggers Funeral Home.
Don graduated Weatherford Junior College, then served in the United States Air Force from 1968 until 1976. His life career was dental technician. He owned his own dental lab since 1975.
Don loved flying his Beechcraft Bonanza, riding his Harley, being active in various Lake Worth organizations. His love of family, laughter and life were obvious to anyone who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Spencer Parker; baby brother, Gary Eugene; and by his parents, Earl and Madie Parker.
Survivors include his wife, Dr. Melinda Cate; son, Steven Parker and wife, Casey; daughter, Cheryl Beene and husband, Jason; stepdaughter, Audra Crews and her husband, Bill, all of Fort Worth; brothers, Larry Parker, Geary Gowins, Tom Gowins; sister, Nancy Beckum; grandchildren, Sean and Jayden Parker, Riley and Jared Beene, Evan Hausenfluke, Grace and Garrett Gustafson, Alex, Marin and Zoe Crews; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and family who will miss him dearly.
