As a young bible school student Don and Shirley welcomed me into their home with open arms and kind hearts! Don had a great smile and a hearty laugh! Frank and I were shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. We had just been reminiscing about you and Don this week. Shirlee- what a tremendous loss for you. What a comfort to know we do not grieve as those with no hope You will be in our prayers in the days and weeks to come.

Our friendship began in Edmonton in 1979, and has grown like a tree ever since. Don & Shirley are solely responsible for my addiction to the Experimental Aircraft Association annual event in Oshkosh WI. His passing came as a shock to me and my wife Ginny. That’s to be expected when a life long friend slips away. Don is with Jesus now, so everything is fine. I will miss him, and continue to love Shirley for as long as I can. God rest yee merry soul my fellow man. I
