Donna Vondell Cranford, age 76, passed away peacefully, Sunday, April 25, 2022 surrounded by family.
Service: 10:00 am, Friday, April 29, 2022 in Biggers Funeral Chapel.
Interment: Dido Cemetery, Tarrant County, Texas
Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Biggers Funeral Home.
Donna was born on August 24, 1945 in Rising Star, Texas to the late Clarence Ford and Mable Erwin Atwood. She had three brothers and two sisters.
She was loved by many friends and family across Texas including childhood friends Carol, Sandra and Sandra from Rising Star who attended their 50th high school reunion together.
Donna worked for Wells Fargo for 15 years in multiple North Texas branches including Keller and Westlake.
She loved all her grandchildren, all her pets, local wildlife and roses. She grew her favorite knock out species in her yard. She loved seeing red cardinals who she always thought were a happy sign that those we have lost will live forever, so long as we keep their memory alive in our hearts.
Donna was an avid TV watcher, especially game shows and her favorite was America Says. She also loved to watch In Touch with Dr Charles Stanley and studied/made notes of his sermons dutifully every Sunday.
She loved spending time with family, shopping for dresses with her daughter and her Walmart visits with her son. She especially loved her travels to Memphis, TN with her husband seeing Graceland and her favorite singer Elvis’s final resting place. As her memory started to decline, she loved looking at her old pictures and retelling stories and memories from her past.
She will be greatly missed but we know we will see her again in heaven.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Ford and Mable Erwin Atwood; brothers, Roland Atwood and Marlon Atwood; and her sisters, Laverne Defibaugh, and Maxine Martin.
Donna is survived by her loving husband of 46 years Charles Cranford; daughter, Andrea (Jack) Lauterbach; son, Brad (Nikki) Cranford; stepsons, Stephen Cranford and Greg Cranford; grandchildren, Abigail, Madelyn, and Emma Lauterbach, Ryan LaBeau, Colton Cranford and Megan Cranford; and her brother, Doug (Doris) Atwood.
