Dora Darleen Young went home to join the angels beside her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Burial: There will be a private burial at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Visitation: 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Biggers Funeral Home.
Dora was born September 9, 1958 in Muncie, Indiana and moved to Fort Worth in the 1970’s. She loved spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. Dora was a bright light to anyone that knew her. She loved her family get togethers with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Dora will truly be missed but we are the lucky ones to have an angel like her looking down on us.
Dora was preceded in death by her father, Don Stanley.
Survivors: Her husband, David Young; daughters, Shana Harris and her husband, Stephen and Brandi Williams; grandchildren, Nikki Folsom and husband, Michael, Brandon Harris and wife Lauren, Bryce Harris, Justin Luther, KaitlynWilliams, and Michael Williams; great-grandchildren, Brooklynn Harris, Parker Healy, Easton Folsom, and Peighton Folsom mother, Wilma Stanley; brothers, David Stanley and wife, Terri, Tony Stanley and wife, Kris, Charlie Stanley and wife, Cindy, Kenneth Stanley and wife, Julie; sisters, Donneta Witt and husband, Alvin, Darcy Gregory, and Rachel Moore and husband, Floyd; mother-in-law, Joyce Young; and many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends who loved, respected and adored her.
She will be truly missed beyond measure.
