Doris May Whitehouse, of Granbury, Texas passed away April 22, 2019. Doris was born on February 2, 1933 in Broomall, PA to Mary and Lester Downs. In addition to her family she loved her animals, bingo, the ocean, the Philadelphia Phillies and her church family at First Christian Church in Granbury.

Doris is survived by her daughters: Mary Letterman and her husband Dave, Bonnie Flint and her fiancé, Jeremy Jacobs. She loved her seven grandchildren: Ashley Baker, Tiffany Whitehouse, Megan Flint, Rachel Letterman, McKenzie Flint, Mathew Baker and Johnathan Baker. She had special friends in Alice Vaught and Danielle Donnelly.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Robert (Bob) Whitehouse, her brother Lester Downs and many much-loved dogs.

Her service will be at First Christian Church in Granbury on April 27th at 2:00. In lieu of flowers, feel free to make donations in her name to First Christian Church Scholarship Fund, First Christian Church, 2109 Highway 377 West, Granbury, TX 76048. Write Scholarship Fund on the memo line.
