Dorothy was a ray of sunshine, blessing all of her loved ones with her presence. She was full of happiness and laughter with a smile that lit up the entire room. She was hilarious and always laughing. If you were ever playing cards and won a hand of rummy, you would see the feisty side of her come out. Her heart was so full of joy and gratitude for everything big or small. The most important thing in her life was her family. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend.
Although Dorothy left behind many loved ones, she is also reunited with many loved ones that she lost long ago. And in that, we take comfort.
There will be a celebration of life with close family and friends only at a later date that is to be determined.
“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die.’”- John 11:25-26.
