Dorothy Carroll Haralson

LIPAN — D. Carroll Haralson, 81, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015, in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2015, at Patillo Baptist Church in Patillo, Texas. Burial: Evergreen Cemetery in Lipan. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Wiley Chapel in Lipan.
Mrs. Haralson was born Nov. 27, 1933, in Rosston, Ark., to James Ingram Blakely and Verla Caldwell Blakely. She married Harold D. Haralson, Dec. 25, 1953, in Fort Worth. Carroll worked at Southwestern Bell and spent her whole career at 1116 Houston Street, downtown Fort Worth. She loved basketball and played half court at Cale High School. She loved her Texas Rangers. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Mabel Connell, Lynelle Merritt, Louise Lambert, and a brother, Henry Blakely.
Survivors: Son, Howard Haralson of Lipan; daughters, Cheryl Haralson Crudup and husband, David, of Weatherford, Carrol Harper of Burleson; sisters, Geraldine “Jerry” Blakely of Fort Worth, Juanita Merritt of Camden, Ark.; grandchildren, Rama Thomas Cooper and wife, Kimberley, David Crudup II and wife, Heather, Blakely Turner and husband, Jason, Maxwell Haralson, Brooke Crudup, Alex Haralson and wife, Katelynn, Nathan Harper; great grandchildren, Tinsley Grace Crudup, Aldous Alexander Haralson, Bastian Nicholas Haralson.
