Dorothy Lee ( Rich) Malone

GRANBURY — Dorothy Lee (Rich) Malone, 76, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Oct. 7, 2016 in Fort Worth.
Service: 2 p.m. Monday, October 10, 2016, at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.
Interment: Holly Hills Memorial Park.
Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, October 9, 2016, at the funeral home.
Dorothy was born Nov. 27, 1939 in Fort Worth to Willie Lee and Hazel Fletcher Rich. She was baptized at the Berry St. Baptist Church when she was a young girl and her baptism was followed by a lifetime of strong Christian faith. Dorothy married Roddie Malone of Springtown on April 24, 1959 and they continued a blessed union that lasted 58 years. They lived in and around Fort Worth most all of their married life until retiring to Granbury in 1994. Dorothy worked for various doctors as a medical assistant but was best known as a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was adored by all who knew her. She loved the Lord and she loved her family and took special pride in her three grandsons. Dorothy had a kind heart and lived a life of love and devotion. Her infectious laugh could fill a room and we will miss her deeply.
Dorothy was a member of Mambrino Baptist Church and is survived by her husband, Roddie Malone of Granbury; daughter, Cindy Tucker and husband, David of Grandfalls, TX; son, Mark Malone and wife, Darcy of Edmond, OK; grandsons, Jake Malone and wife, Alysa of San Antonio, Matthew Tucker of Lubbock and Sam Malone of Lubbock; brother, Bill Rich and wife, Lee of Granbury; and numerous nieces and nephews.
