Dorothy Sue, 97, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020.  Graveside service: 1:00 PM, Monday, November 16, 2020, Nubbin Ridge Cemetery. 

 

Dorothy was born on April 4, 1923 in Granbury, Texas to Chester and Fannie Garringer.   She was married to James C. Sue and she was an excellent wife and mother.

 

Her life’s profession was being the best homemaker possible.    She was gracious and welcoming to every visitor in her home.   She enjoyed cooking and meatloaf was her specialty.  She also enjoyed baking and she made the best pies.

 

Dorothy was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles.  She was a member of the Baptist Church in Dayton, Texas.   She was preceded in death by her husband: James C. Sue, son: Earl Wayne Sue, and eight brothers and sisters.

 

Dorothy is survived by her son: Danny Sue, daughter: Carolyn L. Sue, seven grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, sisters: Vera Garringer and Joy Garringer, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
