Gayla Rigsby Horner left a message on August 19, 2019:
I was military assigned to the USMS when Dub was the Marshal. He brought Sherry to the office on non-duty hours when she noticed my picture on my desk. My name plate said Gayla Horner. She asked Dub if my maiden name was Rigsby. He said, “No idea”. Then he asked me & I said “Yes, why?” He told me that I knew his wife. I asked who she was & when he told me Sherry Clanton I couldn’t believe it. I attended church camps with Sherry for years. Dub was such a delightful man to work for. He had a kindred spirit & was friendly to everyone he met. He will be dearly missed. May God wrap his arms of comfort around this precious family.
