D-Ray Seymour passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022.  Service: 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 14, 2022, Tolar High School Gymnasium, with burial to follow at Tolar Cemetery.  Lie in State: 12:00 Noon – 8:00 PM, Friday, May 13, 2022, Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury under the direction of Wiley Funeral Home. 

 

D-Ray was born on May 17, 2005 in Granbury, Texas.  He loved hanging out with his family and friends.  He loved spending time outdoors especially if he was hunting, fishing, camping, or playing baseball.  He was a Junior at Tolar High School.  He was preceded in death by his grandmother: Janet Moody Pack.

 

D-Ray is survived by his mother: Amy Lee Blackwell and her husband Gary of Trent, father: Kenneth Wayne Seymour, Jr. and his wife Traci of Tolar, brothers: Kevin Austin Fron of Tolar, and Joshua Brian Seymour of Tolar, stepbrothers: Dalton Bartley and Dandon Bartley of Tolar, and Cody Blackwell and his wife Erin of Fort Worth, stepsister: Jenni Azevedo and her husband Nuno of Plano, and MaKayla McSpadden of Georgetown, Texas, grandparents: Lonnie and Lou Pack of Tolar, Larry Pack of Tolar, Kenneth and Billie Sue Seymour of Ranger, and Kristina Morris of Tolar, four nephews, one niece, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

 

He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

D Ray was a blessing to me, as a baseball player. He always had a smile on his face. At 14u he pulled off the beat “full arm” fake, that I have ever seen. He was playing 3B, ball hit glove side, runner on second. He bobbled it, picked it up faked to 1B, the runner at second ran into his tag. Absolute greatness, the field umpire in the C position turned to look at 1B. He turned around to see the runner walking back to the dugout.
